Several international good practises have shown that establishing safer party labels or charters for clubs and events help to reduce risk by improving nightlife settings and implementing health services in a sustainable way: accessibility to health promotion material and information, to free fresh water, to condoms and earplugs, training of the club’s staff, etc. More recently several safer party projects emerged, such as Celebrate safe, festival safe and safety seal. Some of the questions raised around this round table are: What are the befits and pitfalls form a party label versus a health campaign? What are the costs and the benefits for nightlife entrepreneurs and what is the future for this kind of interventions in nightlife?
