This observatory aims to go deep into the relationship between the drug and alcohol use and sexual violence in nightlife settings. The study is part of a line of prevention and risk reduction based on a universal and selective intervention approach. In prevention and risk reduction, sexual violence is one of the main risks in nightlife environments, especially for women who, together with the high tolerance towards this violence, make these behaviours naturalized and invisible, especially when there is alcohol and drug use. For this reason, the 4th 2016-2017 report addresses the speeches, perceptions and dynamics of nightlife-related to sexual violence and drug use in order to apply the knowledge acquired and influence in structural changes of The Reality. To this end, this research has promoted the realization of different actions such as the teaching of trainings on gender perspective and drugs to professionals of this area and young population, the carrying out of preventive campaigns, elaboration of protocols and action plans for municipal entities, and management of information points and attention to people who have suffered some type of sexual violence in nightlife contexts.
